2024RFP-22 - Design and installation of ‘Heliport kits’

The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is issuing this RFP to invite interested and qualified Proponents to submit a Proposal for qualified vendors with expertise in design and installation of ‘Heliport kits’, that can be used in any location required.

The EAEIP (Emergency Air Evacuation Infrastructure Project) was initiated by FNHA and it’s involving the “Prioritization and implementation of select emergency evacuation infrastructure projects in BC First Nation Communities”. This project has come as a result of the fact that emergency air evacuations are frequently needed in communities, but the infrastructure is not there to support them. The initial roll out of this project has seen the need for heliports to be constructed or upgraded in most of the First Nation communities visited. A total of seven (7) locations were prioritized in 2022 with heliport assessments completed. Each of these locations provide a very different landscape for heliport installations. As this is the case, we are looking for a company to be able to provide Heliport “Kits”, including the design and supply, that could be used in any location required.
